The Wonder Years is a fourth compilation album by Grammy Award-winning producer 9th Wonder.[2] It was released on September 27, 2011 through his own label It's A Wonderful World Music Group. The album was entirely produced by 9th Wonder himself.
Overview
It was originally scheduled to be released in 2008 through Asylum Records but it was delayed to undisclosed reasons. The songs originally recorded for the album were leaked such as "Star" featuring his former group Little Brother, "Ms. Diva" featuring Tyler Woods and Talib Kweli and "Only Knew" featuring Tyler Woods and Styles P. The album rumors first surfaced circa late ’00′s and it was thought that The Wonder Years would never see the light of the day. However Phonte and 9th decided to make and amends and like magic 9th is finally ready to release his debut producer LP. Featured on The Wonder Years is the all-star cast of Phonte, Median, Warren G, Murs, Kendrick Lamar, Masta Killa, Blu, Raekwon, Mac Miller + many more.
